CMS Identifier

Unique identifier of an audio or moving image item assigned during inventory in SPEC

AMI Identifier, AMI Primary Identifier, and CMS Identifier are functionally similar, although there may be differences between the values in legacy data dependent on guidelines and workflows at the time of import.

• Ingest of AMI into MMS is currently paused, and thus there are not current guidelines for CMS Identifier, but legacy data may exist in MMS
